Intel engineers shot out of cannon to recreate “Intel Inside” chimes

No Intel employees were harmed in the making of this film. All characters featured in the videos were played by actors specially trained in silly costumes and Finnish accents. Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to fire anyone out of a cannon.

The Moblin Netbook OS

Google is not the only major tech company developing a speedy, open-source operating system for netbooks – Intel’s been working on Moblin netbook OS since 2007.

Moblin netbook OS is meant to be a lot of things: user-friendly, Internet-oriented and based on existing standards. BMoblin’s most significant strength is supposed to be how well it runs on Intel’s Atom processor.

Mac Pro Upgraded to 3.33GHz - Mac Pro - Gizmodo

The Mac Pro has been quietly upgraded. Nothing incredibly amazing, but quite a good jump in processor speed to 3.33GHz of Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor.

You can also add four 2-terabyte hard drives from the factory. Unfortunately, this is not an architectural change, just a speed bump.
